Job Description
A chance to join one of the world's leading international solutions group offering Total FM.

You will have financial management experience, and be technically minded.

You will manage the maintenance contract for the site to ensure that all contractual obligations are discharged, with the potential to extend to other portfolio sites.

You will prepare a monthly management report to include SLA/SLT performance and any significant issues for the site.

You will manage the provision of the Forward Maintenance Regime and budget, and obtain Client approval of it.

You will manage and monitor the maintenance sub-contractor’s spend against the Forward Maintenance Regime for all maintenance and additional works and manage all relevant work requests from the Client utilising the ICSC and Maximo as required.

You will liaise with the Client on any Escalation and Emergency Response requirements and provide an annual report to the Client on EOY reconciliation of accrued costs.


Key Health and Safety accountabilities include:

Working safely and efficiently and with due regard for their own health and safety, and the health and safety and the welfare of others including, Company staff, Authority staff, contractors and members of the public etc.

Not interfering or misusing anything in the interests of health, safety and welfare in pursuance of any of the relevant statutory provisions.

Adhering to safe systems of work procedures and practices and using appropriate safety devices, equipment and clothing.

Reporting to the appropriate person all unsafe conditions, damage, near misses - whether or not there are any personal injuries, in order that remedial action can be taken.

Familiarising themselves with and complying with all site rules, regulations, practices and procedures affecting health and safety.

Attending safety training in accordance with the Company requirements.

Routine inspection of working environments to check compliance with the Company’s Health and Safety, Policy and Procedures Manual, established regulations and Codes of Safe Working Practice.

Making sure that the control measures in place are at all times operable and not interfered with and that personal protective clothing, where appropriate, is available and is used.

Co-operating with the Company Health and Safety Manager during his/her inspections and audits and act on their recommendations.

Ensuring that risk assessments for their area of activity are carried out and undertaking risk assessments where necessary and appropriate in consultation with the Company’s Health and Safety Manager.

The identification and elimination of potential hazards together with the development of safe working methods and environments.

To comply with Part B of the Health and Safety company procedure and emergency procedures as required.


Job Requirements:

CANDIDATE MUST BE WILLING TO UNDERGO EXTENDED SECURITY CLEARANCE, TO COMMENCE SUMMER 2010.

BTEC ONC/HNC in Building Services (or equivalent)

Significant experience in facilities management/building services maintenance.

Financial/budget management.

IT literate with experience of MS Office and CAFM systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Customer focussed.

Able to work on own initiative.
